LATEST UPDATE ON MASJID OMAR MONHEIM
A long time ago, the Islamic Community of Monheim and Surroundings (e. V.) was established through the immigration of guest workers from Morocco. This community wished for a mosque, and since then, a house on Opladener Street in Monheim has been used for this purpose. Monheim is a city on the Rhine with around 43,000 inhabitants and is home to one of the largest Muslim communities in the region. For more than 30 years, the community has been working to promote Islamic life and raise awareness of Islam. Its goal is to convey an authentic understanding of Islam and to foster brotherhood and unity. To better fulfill this purpose and meet the needs of its members, the community has decided to build a new mosque.
